Why travel to the South West?

Why travel to the South West? This is a question I have been asked many times. The answer is easy – the South West has so much to offer groups, whatever your group is interested in and whatever their age.

From stunning beaches and coastline, to the areas of outstanding natural beauty including Dartmoor, Exmoor, Bodmin Moor and the Blackdown Hills, Stately Homes and Gardens, towns, cities and picturesque villages, history stretching back to the Jurassic Age from Cornish mining to smugglers, military history of D-Day and Lawrence of Arabia and literary connections of Poldark, Du Maurier, Thomas Hardy  and Agatha Christie, boat trips at sea and on rivers and steam train rides through beautiful scenery, and many other tourist attractions including wildlife park and sanctuaries, caves, model villages, and museums, you can make the holiday of a lifetime with a little thought and careful planning.
